The company expanded into markets outside Greece’s borders, entering into a strategic the European leader: the British ‘Dixons Group’. KOTSOVOLOS took a clear lead against its competitors and became the No 1 Electric and Electronic Goods Chain in Greece, a position it holds to this day.
In 2005 it joined forces completely with the Dixons Group, which has 1300 physical and online stores and 40,000 employees in 28 countries throughout Europe.
By maintaining its unique characteristics, which made the company beloved by so many customers, and by broadening its network following European standards, KOTSOVOLOS became synonymous with innovation, technology, excellent service, and complete services.
At the same time, the company entered the digital market with online stores, while at the same time expanding its physical presence with new privately owned stores and the franchise system. Its stores were renovated in accordance with the international standards of the Dixons Group, introducing the concept of MegaStores to the Greek market for the first time.
It presented innovative services, such as total support coverage for appliances, it was the first to make available the latest high-tech products, such as the first 3D TV, and was successfully active in corporate customer service (B2B).
